Creative Arts Center

Set in the foothills of the North Cascades, the design encompasses a compact building that works hard, fulfilling numerous roles at this summer camp. Housing a multitude of activities for patrons of this summer camp, the 8,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor Creative Arts Center blurs the lines between interior and exterior, providing campers with a space to get inspired and an outlet to express themselves through sculpture, painting, music, and movement. A dramatic open-air dance floor actively integrates the building into the landscape and provides a sheltered area for outdoor activities and special events in inclement weather.
