At Miller Hayashi we are committed to our client's needs and project goals from the “what do we need now” to the “what do we envision for the future”. West Seattle Elementary School featured as a 2024 Outstanding Project in Learning By Design Awards of Excellence Showcase
Miller Hayashi partnered with Seattle Public Schools to design a new, 20,000-square-foot, two-story addition to West Seattle Elementary School. To best serve the school's growing, vibrant community, we set out early to connect with West Seattle Elementary School's educational team—including administrators and teachers, as well as representatives from students and families—to really understand the values of their community and their priorities for the project.
